PS1000
3A, 1.2MHz, 5.5V Synchronous Step-Down Converter
 
General Description

The PS1000 is a high efficiency synchronous buck converter. Device integrates low RDS_ON MOSFETs for achieving high efficiency and output current is up to 3A. Input voltage ranges from 2.5V to 5.5V and reference voltage is 0.6V.
The PS1000 adopts internally compensated constant-on-time (COT) control that provides very fast transient response with few external components. The PS1000 provides two operation mode. For light load high efficiency application, the PS1000A/C supports pulse-skipping mode (PSM). For good line/load regulation and low output ripple applications, the PS1000B/D supports forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM). In CCM operation, PS1000 remains in nearly constant switching frequency.
The PS1000 provides an adjustable output voltage through an external resistor divider. An internal soft-start circuit limits the inrush current during startup. A power good indicator and enable control is built in the PS1000. 
Device integrates protection including both FETs (HS/LS) cycle-by-cycle current limit, input under-voltage lockout (UVLO), output under-voltage (UVP), over-temperature protection (OTP) and output over-voltage protection (OVP).
The PS1000 is available in WDFN2x2-8 and WDFN2x2-8S packages.
 
PS1007
3A, 1.2MHz, 5.5V Synchronous Step-Down Converter
 
General Description

The PS1007 is a high efficiency synchronous buck converter. Device integrates low RDS_ON MOSFETs for achieving high efficiency and output current is up to 3A. Input voltage ranges from 2.5V to 5.5V and reference voltage is 0.6V.

General Description

The PS1210 series are cost-effective synchronous step-down DC-DC converters. The device achieves low power consumption with external pin selectable DEM/SDEM, respectively which could be beneficial for long battery life and avoid audio noise. V2COT-based architecture with current injection supports MLCCs output capacitors application without an external compensation network. The PS1210 provides open-drain Power Good indicator for power sequence control. The device integrates full protection features, including the cycleby-cycle OCP, OVP, UVP, input UVLO and OTP. The PS1210 is available in a UQFN-23L 3x3 (FC) package and is specified from -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature range.

PS1213B
3.5V to 16V Input, 20A Sync Step-Down Converter
 
General Description

The PS1213B is a high-power density, fully integrated synchronous buck converter. It works with wide input 
voltage range and can support up to 20A continuous output current at defined conditions. LDO is integrated 
internally, which is very suitable for single input supply condition. External bias is optional for maximizing the 
efficiency. A differential sensing scheme and a 0.6V internal feedback reference voltage achieve ±1% output 
voltage tolerance over full temperature range. The PS1213B provides excellent line and load regulation.
The PS1213B uses Turbo Constant-On Time (TCOTTM) to control the algorithm with fast transient response. 
Pure MLCC output capacitors can be used to save space and cost.
The PS1213B has fully integrated protection features including OCP, NOCP, OVP, UVP and over temperature 
protection (OTP).
The PS1213B is available in a QFN 3mm x 4mm package with 21-Pin.
 
PS1216
4V to 16V Input, 6A Sync Step-Down Converter
 
General Description

The PS1216 is a fully integrated, high-frequency, synchronous, step-down converter. It provides a very compact 
solution that achieves up to 6A output current with excellent load and line regulation over wide input voltage 
range. PS1216 has high working efficiency over its output current load range.
PS1216 uses proprietary Turbo Constant-On-Time (TCOTTM) control with internal compensation to provide fast 
transient response and simplified loop stability.
The switching frequency can be easily set to 600kHz or 1.1MHz. The switching frequency of PS1216 remains 
constant regardless of input and output voltages.
The soft start process is controlled by an internal 1.4msec timer, which can be increased by adding a capacitor 
from REF to GND. The open-drain power good (PGOOD) signal indicates whether the output is within its 
nominal voltage range. When the input power fails to power the PS1216, PGOOD is clamped at about 0.7V by 
an external pull-up voltage.
PS1216 is equipped with full suites of protection functions which includes over-current protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).
 
PS1500
2.7V to 28V Input, Synchronous Step-Down Controller

operates with supply input voltage range from 2.7V to 28V and supports output voltages of 0.7V to 5V.

General Description

PS1585A/B is a cost-effective, dual synchronous step-down controller with 5V and 3.3V LDOs, aimed for system-power supply solution of each computer fields. The device could achieve ultra-low quiescent current when system enters sleep mode or low power consumption. The selectable DEM/SDEM could also be beneficial 
for long battery life in system stand-by mode. During normal operation, an internal bypass switch is enabled in order to increase the efficiency of LDOs. V2COT-based architecture with current injection supports MLCCs output capacitors application without external compensation network. The PS1585A/B operates with supply input voltage range from 5V to 26.4V and supports output voltages of 5V and 3.3V. The PS1585A/B is available in a 20-pin 3x3 (mm) WQFN package and is specified from -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature range.
